Learnership & Bursary Opportunities

Towards the end of 2015, we introduced our very first leanership and bursary program in partnership with Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA). The program is geared towards empowering youth with a keen interest in the chemical industry; specifically chemical manufacturing and operations, laboratory and analysis as well as students pursuing a degree in analytical chemistry and industrial engineering.

To date, over 300 learners have gone through our learnerships and 30 young aspiring graduates have been awarded bursaries to study through the University of Limpopo and the Tshwane University of Technology.

POSITION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
PRODUCTION MANAGER• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Operations Management/ Analytical Chemistry/Production Management
• SAP systems’ experience will be advantageous.
• 4 -5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
• Advanced computer literacy
• Integrity and confidentiality are essential
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define, propose, and implement the annual product
• Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
• Maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices as well as ensuring no product recalls
• Cost management of products and assist with new product costings models
• Handle logistics, warehousing and stock of raw materials used in production
• Control production budget costs, labour management and identify/rectify waste measures
• Create and implement organizational/production changes on an operative level
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Enforce health and safety precautions and support SHEQ initiatives and objectives
SALARY: Market related
