Exciting Changes and Opportunities.
In moving with the times and keeping up with changing industry requirements, Polokwane Chemical Suppliers has launched its Vision 2030 strategy, which is aligned with the country’s New Growth Plan. With the launch of the new strategy, comes exciting changes which have begun to unfold. This is evident in the newly adopted Vision & Mission statements, which reflect our passion for our people, our clients, suppliers and the environment.

The past year has been both fruitful and challenging however 2016 is also rich with great potential and opportunities.

Towards the end of 2015, PCS announced its first learnership and bursary opportunities in partnership with CHIETA and other hosting companies in the cleaning chemical industry. The learnership program offers candidates, both unemployed and employed, an opportunity to obtain a national certificate in one of the following areas:

● Laboratory Analysis, NQF Level 4
● Chemical Operations, NQF Level 2
● Chemical Manufacturing, NQF Level 2
● GETC: Chemical Operations, NQF Level 1

A total of 235 learners have been enrolled on the learnership program which commenced at the beginning of February 2016. The course frame includes approximately 6 months of theory and 4 months of experiential learning in various hosting companies.
Bursaries will offer 30 potential candidates an opportunity to pursue the following areas of undergraduate degree studies:

● Industrial Engineering
● Analytical Chemistry
● Polymer Technology
